The Duke University Medical Center Library's Document Delivery/Interlibrary Loan service is available to DUMC faculty, staff, and students. If you are too busy to photocopy materials or need items not available at Duke, this service can help you.

How much does this cost?

Articles

• Available in the Medical Center Library stacks or online - $5 per article
• Available exclusively from Duke Off-Site Stacks (LSC) or another Duke library - FREE
• Not available at Duke - $11 per article plus copyright fees or additional charges.
  Any charges over $11 will be billed to the requestor once we have been authorized to process the order.

Books

• Available from a non-Duke library - $5 each. Please request these using this system.
  Any charges over $5 will be authorized by requestor before processing the order.
• Available exclusively from Duke Off-Site Stacks (LSC) or another Duke library - FREE. Please request these through the library catalog.
